BRC Celebrates Healthcare Science Week with new podcast series

Tune into a brand new podcast series from the NIHR Leicester BRC, launched this Healthcare Science Week.

In interviews with Professor Turi King, researchers based at the BRC get the chance to really get into the detail of their work as they discuss their current area of research and its potential impact on patients.

In Episode 1, Clinical Associate Professor and Consultant Respiratory Physician, Dr Rachael Evans, talks about her research into chronic breathlessness.

Professor of Physical Activity, Sedentary Behaviour and Health, Charlotte Edwardson talks to Turi King about improving health behaviours in Episode 2.

In the final podcast of the series, Professor of Thoracic Oncology, Dean Fennell gives us as an incredible insight into his research into new treatments for Mesothelioma – a specific type of lung cancer.
