We are delighted to announce that our colleagues from the STIMULATE-ICP and PHOSP-I Long Covid research teams have been honored with the Excellence in Research Award at this year’s UHL Recognition Awards.

The ceremony, held on Friday 4 October at the Athena in Leicester, celebrated the outstanding achievements of individuals and teams across the University Hospitals of Leicester (UHL) who go above and beyond in making a positive impact on patients, colleagues, and communities.

The STIMULATE-ICP and PHOSP-I teams have made groundbreaking contributions to Long Covid research within our Respiratory theme, aiming to improve patient outcomes through innovative clinical approaches. This award is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and commitment to enhancing healthcare research.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the team for their exceptional achievements, and to all the nominees and winners who embody the spirit of excellence within UHL. We are proud of our colleagues for their continued efforts in pushing the boundaries of research and making a tangible difference in healthcare.
